SIGFAP family and SIGProj
Research funding management systems adopted by state research foundations across Brazil and by the Ministry of Education.
The SIGFAP family (Information and Management System for Research Support Foundations) grew out of SIGFundect and was instantiated, through a software product line, for research foundations in several Brazilian states (FUNDECT, FAPESPA, FAPEAM, FAPEPI, FAPES). SIGProj, a university project management system, was adopted by the Ministry of Education (2009 to 2011).
My role: project manager at LEDES/UFMS and author of the product line approach behind the family, the subject of my master’s dissertation (2007).
