Embrapa I/O
Embrapa's corporate platform for collaborative development, automated delivery and continuous monitoring of digital assets.
Embrapa I/O is the platform that standardizes the software engineering practiced across Embrapa’s research units: from the GitLab repository to container deployment, through CI/CD pipelines, application boilerplates, release management and production monitoring. Started in 2021, it is now the foundation on which the company’s agricultural digital assets are built and maintained.
My role: design and technical coordination since the beginning (2021 to date), including the period in which I was Embrapa’s Digital Asset Development Supervisor (2022 to 2025).
Recognition: Brazil Digital Ozires Silva Award 2022/2023, “National Reference” classification in the “Digital Government” category.
Components and derivatives: Embrapa I/O Releaser (command-line client for deploying builds, 2023), per-stack boilerplates, governance guidelines for mobile apps.
Publication: extended abstract in the Extended Proceedings of CBSoft 2023.
